As a fully qualified physiotherapist, certified coach and health consultant based in Cockermouth, I bring together physiotherapy, rehabilitation and wellbeing support to help you make real, lasting change - not just treat the symptoms. 

Sometimes that’s through hands-on treatment or exercise-based rehab. Sometimes it’s exploring how stress (and anxiety), sleep or lifestyle habits are affecting your body and energy levels. And often, it’s a bit of both, because there’s rarely a single solution!

Taking a whole-person approach, I’ll work with you to understand the full picture and create a plan that suits your goals, pace and priorities.

Tailored rehabilitation for people recovering from complex and traumatic injuries or polytrauma (multiple injuries), such as road traffic accidents, workplace injuries, or amputation. Sessions can take place in clinic, in the pool, at home or outdoors, depending on what works best for you and enables you to meet your goals.

Meet Sarah Lord

I’m Sarah, a physiotherapist and certified coach based in Cockermouth, Cumbria. With over 25 years of experience, I work with people from all walks of life to help them move better, feel stronger and live well. 

I support people through everything from simple and more complex injuries to post-surgery rehab, to burnout, chronic stress and lifestyle-related health issues. 

My approach combines clinical expertise with compassion, curiosity and practical evidence-based tools that are shaped around your goals and challenges to create long-term improvements in your health and the way you live.
